Langdon Hall Wedding - Cecilia + Henry

Langdon Hall is one unique wedding venue in Cambridge Ontario. It’s a manageable 90 minutes drive from downtown Toronto and it comes with onsite accommodations. Cambridge itself is a lovely town situated by the Grand River in southern Ontario. All in all, Langdon Hall is a beautiful hidden gem ideal for a romantic wedding weekend getaway. This wedding of Cecilia and Henry’s highlights Langdon Hall’s photogenic indoor and outdoor spaces for pictures and its intimate vibe for a wedding celebration.

Witness by only the closest friends and families, the couple have their wedding ceremony outdoor under a big tree in front of the open garden. Langdon Hall’s garden ceremony space has its natural rawness. It’s not over-the-top grand. Rather, it’s very versatile for personal touches. Cecilia and Henry kept the space simple with just a touch of fall floral decorations. It maximizes the effect of the beautiful greenery around the space. The evening reception has the same intimate vibe to it and end with a sparkler exit. It’s the kind of sparkler wedding exit that doesn’t shout for attention but simply a romantic closure for a fun night.

Earlier that day…

Cecilia and Henry had a traditional tea ceremony in their hotel room in Langdon Hall. As wedding photographers in Toronto, we always enjoy documenting the traditional aspects of cultural weddings. We find it intriguing to add that personal touch to one’s wedding. Most of the Chinese weddings we are part of are modern weddings. Nonetheless, the majority of brides and grooms, be them both with a Chinese background or mixed couples, incorporate tea ceremony in their wedding to show respect for the culture and the elderlies. It’s something we greatly appreciate.
