Lisa and Carlo's wedding at Liuna Station in Hamilton was a big Italian reception. Carlo served the army and their ceremony was held at Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada in Hamilton. While the ceremony was an intimate one due to space limitation, the wedding reception at Liuna Station was celebrated with over 400 guests from around the world (mostly Italy and the United States, representing the two sides of the families). While I shoot a lot more small intimate weddings, Lisa and Carlo's sizeable wedding was nonetheless a fun one. I made a same-day-edit photo slideshow of the morning's getting ready and the ceremony since Lisa wanted all the guests who couldn't attend the wedding ceremony to share the joy through photography. I thought I wouldn't enjoy the stress of preparing a slideshow on a busy wedding day but it turned out to be the best experience. It made my heart so happy to see Lisa and Carlo and all the guests living the day's experience through my images with a big smile on their faces. The day ended with an all night long dance floor. It's not always easy to make a big wedding a fun one but Lisa and Carlo definitely did a remarkable job.
Congrats on a big yet fun and intimate wedding!
